Tuition is a fixed semester rate divided into equal monthly installments. Holidays and non-lesson days are already factored into the tuition, so the monthly rate remains the same each month. This helps ensure consistency and supports the planning of high-quality instruction throughout the term. Each installment covers your student’s reserved weekly lesson time as well as studio resources, materials, and preparation dedicated to their vocal development.
Tuition: $38 per lesson (All Campuses)
Tuition: $25 per lesson (Middle Schools Only)
Recurring lessons require a semester commitment. This means that when you sign up for a package plan, you are reserving a specific time slot that will be dedicated to your lessons for the entire semester.
Tuition is calculated by the semester and divided into four equal monthly installments per semester. This helps ensure consistency and supports the planning of high-quality instruction throughout the term. Each installment covers your reserved weekly lesson time as well as studio resources, materials, and preparation dedicated to their vocal development.
Invoices are sent on the 20th of each month and cover the next scheduled installment. Payments are charged automatically on the 25th of each month. A $25 late fee will apply if we have to collect late payments, or we will open up your spot and drop you from the schedule.
Fall Payment Schedule Spring Payment Schedule
1. August 25th 1. December 26th
2. September 25th 2. February 25th
3. October 25th 3. March 25th
4. November 25th 4. April 25th
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may require you to cancel a lesson. However, due to the scheduling commitments, we enforce a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel your lesson, please do so at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Lessons canceled without a 24-hour notice or in the event of a no-show will be forfeited without the opportunity for a make-up lesson.
While KTVS commits in good faith to make a sincere effort to reschedule lessons, make-up lessons will be scheduled at the instructor's convenience and availability, are not guaranteed, and will not be carried over longer than one month from the date of the missed lesson.
No need to apologize for late arrivals; however, as a courtesy to those scheduled before and after you, your lesson will begin and end promptly at its regularly scheduled time. For example, if your 45-minute lesson begins at 10:00 and you are 10 minutes late, your lesson will still end at 10:45.
Please come to your lessons with water, music, and pencils for marking sheet music. Students are expected to bring the required materials needed for the lesson each week.
Students are expected to practice their lesson material outside of class. We reserve the right to terminate lessons if there is a consistent lack of preparation.
All lessons will be recorded whether in-person at the studio or online. Recordings will be made available via your account in the Student Portal. Listening to recorded lessons is pivotal for students' growth. It fosters self-assessment, helps detect unnoticed singing errors, and tracks vocal progress over time. These recordings reinforce learned techniques, prepare students for performances, and guide individual practice. Overall, this practice accelerates improvement and boosts confidence by encouraging reflective learning.
I typically don't take phone calls during lessons to maintain focus. However, for prompt communication, you can text me at 512-710-8144. I check my messages several times daily and will respond as soon as possible.
By taking lessons with KTVS, permission to post photos of students participating in singing activities is granted to media forms including, but not limited to, our website, Facebook, and YouTube channel. Only the first names of students will be posted.
We reserve the right to discontinue service to anyone, at any time, for reasons including but not limited to: consistent late payments, no-shows, frequent cancellations, violation of studio policies, disrespect towards the teacher/studio or other students, or if a student is deemed too young to benefit from voice lessons. Former students who owe money will not be readmitted unless full payment is received in advance.
